Harvest of the King of Chinese medicinal herbs this month...

𝘎𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 !

The king of Chinese medicinal herbs is being harvested this month in Fusong county (Baishan prefecture) in the south of Jilin province, the cradle of ginseng at the foot of Changbai Mountain bordering North Korea.

Plantations hidden in the long stretched forests and hills, often only reachable by dirt roads are busy from half September to the beginning of October harvesting and processing #ginseng roots.

The south of #Jilin province is not only known for its ginseng, many wild mushrooms and berries are being picked in the forests and harvested from plantations before the cold North-East China winter will kick in soon.

All this natural health abundance under the eye of the ‘heaven lake’天池, the crater lake at the top of beautiful Changbai mountain 长白山.
