China is generally not recognized for wines but international awards for wineries in the "Eastern Foothills of the Helan Mountains" in Ningxia are increasingly earning respect in global leading competitions since recent years.

Located in a “golden latitude zone” for vineyards, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 in Ningxia is a unique and dynamic wine region at the edge of the Gobi desert with more and more global reputation.

𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘅𝗶𝗮, 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘅𝗶𝗮 𝗛𝘂𝗶 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 is located in central North China, home to the largest muslim minority in China, the Hui minority. The East side of the Helan Mountains at the northern tip of the autonomous region has been developed into a reputable and recognized wine region since the 1980's with 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝟰𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝟵𝟬 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 in 6 sub-regions. It is a dynamic wine region with enthusiastic, professional, 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀.
