Only launched early summer last year, the 4-seater Hongguang Mini was already the number one EV from July-October 2020 with more than 55,000 orders.




With its compact urban mobility size, an amazing price of appr. ๐—˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ผ. ๐Ÿฏ,๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐Ÿฑ,๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ, its cute look and standard features such as anti-lock brakes, rear parking and tire pressure sensors, airco, electric windows and stereosystem, it is very successfully filling the compact EV urban mobility gap in the Chinese market overlooked by other manufacturers.



The car is produced by SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile in Southern Chinaโ€™s Liuzhou City (Guanxi). Yes, the city renowned for its Luosifen (stinky snail rice noodles) ๐Ÿ˜Š


During the 2020 Chengdu auto show, there was a show model of a sturdy Hongguang โ€œSuperminiโ€ 6x6 pick-up on display, a wonderful counter clichรฉ to all those huge pick-up monsters :-).
